The Teaching Environment of the Future

The impact that Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has on teaching and learning is vitally important. Our Teaching Environment of the Future (TEF) is available for all pupils and is equipped with over 160 high specification computers, each with a high-speed link to the school's network and the Internet.

The school's own Intranet is loaded with teaching materials suitable for all abilities of pupil in every curriculum subject.

The TEF is staffed by Head of ICT, Technicians and Higher Level Teaching Assistants, so that pupils can access the appropriate help at any time.

We are grateful to the Department of Education and Skills and to Wolverhampton City Council for their support. The cost of over £800,000 is an investment in the future of our pupils.

Before and After School Facilities

The TEF is open most days before and after school for students to complete homework, print off work, study, seek assistance with ICT or access internet facilities.
